DJ Zombie (The Original, everyone else? Evil clones!)
DJ Zombie has been tearing up the wheels of steel since he first smashed out a store window and ran away with them as a young child. Ok, well it did not happen like that. Let's just say that his obsession with mixing has been going on for sometime now.
He started out when it was the battle of the greatest DJ. This was a time when a DJ was someone who could actually mix records together perfectly. Blending was a art form and these dj's strived to be the best at running 3 turntables, mixing, scratching!
DJ's would face off and battle to the death with flying sharp records! Well, ok, that was a bit dramatic, but there were the old school DJ battles for who was the best!
Zombie was discovered at a hole in the wall club by ( DJ Magic A) from the Legendary OH's Laser Club. He felt sorry for this insane crazy young DJ and said, "Ok, stop scratching Run D.M.C nonstop! Time to learn how to mix! Under his Yoda like DJ powers, he learned the ways of the DJ Jedi. Soon he was mixing at one of the largest nightclubs in the world! With over 10,000 party goers every Friday. Zombie mixed live On the air from the club on Q106 FM in San Diego. The show was a huge hit running for over 2 years.
Zombie also performed as the head DJ at the Saturday Dance Party from Sea World Live on 92.5FM. This was the place to be every weekend.
Zombie and Kelly join forces!
Zombie and Kelly became a team when one day he saw this highend fashion model start to fall off the stage and he caught her. They instantly fell in love. Wow, that would make a great movie! The real story would take too long, so we will just go with that.
They discovered that 1 DJ and 1 MC had semi cosmic powers to make crowds scream! Kelly was a instant hit with nightclubs in San Diego, some of these were Red Onion, Mexican Village, Confetti's, Club Metro and more. These maniacs were allowed to provide DJ Service for Disneyland, SeaWorld and Hilton Hotel Chain.
Zombie and Kelly went on to spin at City Nites Nightclub. Saturday nights featured a live on air mix show on Q105 FM live. The show also featured live performances from the Cover Girls, Sweet Sensation, DJ Easy Rock and Rob Base, Duran Duran, K-7, Robyn and more.
Zombie has produced over 200 Radio commercials. They created the Friday Night Dance Party live from Club 99. With a listening audience of over 100,000!
Zombie and Kelly transformed their others shows into a weekly radio mix show on Saturday nights. Many past shows can be heard on Sound Cloud, at least the ones that were legal.
